"Writing is a deeply immersive experience. When the words are flying, the house could be burgled and I wouldn't notice." William Wordsworth.

Writing is something she'd always wanted to do. After graduating with a degree in English, Punitha started writing for a local magazine called Property Malaysia. She also taught English to foreign students in an ESL school.

Upon migrating to Canada in the year 2000, Punitha ventured into the hospitality industry. Two years ago she started pursuing her dream in writing and completed a diploma in Creative Writing and Journalism.

She's new to Suite101 but hopes to contribute interesting and helpful articles to readers.

Her interest varies from psychology, history, anthropology to healthy eating. With two active children and a full time job, Punitha's always on the go but, she never reverts to fast food. She has a meal journal that she prepares at the beginning of each week and follows through.

Incidentally, she has also recently completed her first novel which she will be seeking publication hopefully soon.
